    1. Hi Ram,

Nice to be visiting your blog again, it has been months for me. Well this article that I've been waited for so long.
I am new to PEGA and planning to take PEGA as my career path now. Have to clear one certification on PEGA LBA to get in a new project. Can someone please suggest from where to start to clear this certification?
OpenSpan delivers representatives to focus their energy on analyzing their experiences with customers and designing strategies for delivering exceptional services while reducing operational costs.
THANK YOU!! This saved my butt today, I’m immensely grateful.

    2. Hi Raghu,

Gratitude for putting up this prolific article! You truly make everything a cake walk. Genuinely good stuff, saving time and energy.

      get an object
get the geometry of that object
get the pointsarray of the geometry
modify the pointsarray as needed to accomplish what you want.
      delete the first object
create a new object using the new pointsarray
I have some routines that do what you are asking.  I'll be happy to share them with you, but it would be helpful to know where you are in terms of programming ability and if you would be able to integrate them into a project.  If you are just starting out, there are some background things you'll need to get in place first.  Of course many of us are willing to help out and get you pointed in the right direction. Just let us know Uipath Training USA .
Plane shapes are a points array so you would have to get the points array for the entire shape, find that xy and edit it.
When you are in the GUI and see the vertex type, you are basically editing the points array manually in the GUI.  The vertex function is not exposed in automation, it is part of that form.  That is why you can't find it in Automation.
Can you explain the use case a little better?  Are you just rounding the inside corners?  If so why?
I read multiple articles and watched many videos about how to use this tool - and was still confused! Your instructions were easy to understand and made the process simple.

      Thanks and Regards,
      Kevin

    1. Hi There,

Great post. Can’t get any more straight forward than this article. Thanks!
As I have been working on Blue Prism and UI Path but not Openspan, I can only tell you the following.
Personally, if feel UI Path is extremely user friendly.
Speed of implementation would be very high but anyone who has worked on it can sense the delay problem that has to be improved upon.
Can be used for various integration services with different workflow modules hence scoring high on re usability.
Citrix environment automation and desktop contribute to major pros of this tool. The architecture of the tool ensures future proof, meaning it can evolve in unbelievable measures.
It has a free community edition allowing everyone to download and learn with umpteen number of learning PDF’s and videos available online
Only con is lack of control. No coding. Neither C# nor VB script can be run.
Excellent tutorials - very easy to understand with all the details. I hope you will continue to provide more such tutorials.

      Muchas Gracias,

  4. Hello There,

    Awesome article.
Thanks for making that available.I've been using your help to build my own POC and will publish the steps in another blog soon.
I am having a difficult time wrapping my head around deferring items in a queue and looking for some guidance.
Currently, I am loading a class schedule to a work queue. My process then looks at each class to see if the class has started or not (complete or exception). However, if the local time is not within an hour of the class start time I need to defer the processing of that item.
When I defer the item, it updates the queue with the UTC time (for me 6 hours behind local time).
So, my question is, do I need to adjust my process logic to UTC so that the queue pics up the deferred item at the correct time? Or can I continue to use local time?
Secondary question. After deferring the item my get next stage then pulls the item I just deferred. I'm thinking this is because the process is currently deferring to a past time. Thoughts?
    Queue Deferring and Management?

Excellent tutorials - very easy to understand with all the details. I hope you will continue to provide more such tutorials.

  9. Hi Bro,

I love all the posts, I really enjoyed.
I would like more information about this, because it is very nice., Thanks for sharing.

    "Horses for courses."
It depends what type of application you want to test. Desktop, Browser-based or Mobile Appliance.
Is it back-office based or GUI, database dependent or API oriented?
All these questions need to be considered when choosing the right tool.
Furthermore, what size organisation are you working for? How much use will the tool continue to get and who will be using, administering, maintaining the scripts?
Do you need to consider performance or load issues in the running of your product?
Licensing can be an issue, how many users will there be?
All these things should be considered first before diving in. And finally, give it a test-run. how does it feel, does it integrate with other tools that you employ?
But great job man, do keep posted with the new updates.

    MuchasGracias,

  11. Hi There,

Great info! I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. Uipath certification
I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have

Going from round to corner is much easier than corner to round, because you don't have to consider the effects (i.e. errors) caused by a very large radius. For a closed shape, which a plane should be, the resulting number of vertices will equal the number of straight line segments, which is easy to determine from a Geometry XYR PointsArray. All you need to do is compute the 'point of intersection' for each sequential pair of line segments. The internet has plenty of websites with formulas for doing that. Given that the plane shape is controlled by Mentor, you should not have to deal with the special case involving intersection of sequential parallel segments.

Anyways great write up, your efforts are much appreciated.

    Thanks a heaps,
    Radhey
