a) Port & switch status
Login to the switch and check the switch port status ( porterrshow,
Switchstatusshow )
b) Server not logged
check the switch if the server is logged in using “cfgshow”
command.
c) Light level issues
For checking the cap1 recommended value ( 200) use the command
“sfpshow slot/port”.
d ) Zoning issues
If the server is facing Zoning issues , use the command cfgshow
and check zone , alias details.
e ) Disabling or enabling the switch ports – Using the switch commands
( CLI )
config terminal
interface fc slot/port
shut – to disable the port
No
shut – to enable the port.
f ) For the port errors & light level issues
coordinate with JSA team for Cable check and emc SFP replacement.
