boxes.
a)
Server not able to access the storage - Using
symcli commands will be checking HBA’s are logged into the storage
symcfg –sid 226 list logins –wwn wwnnumber
symcfg –sid 226 list logins | grep –i hostname
b)
Servers are showing multiple disk copies from
SAN - Use symcli for checking the issues.
c)
Servers are not able to boot – This issue is applicable to boot from san
hosts, check the connectivity, fabric parameters and also verify nothing has
changed in the host environment recently.
d)
Disk groups are not in the expected modes - If the
DG’s are not in the expected mode,manually make them in the proper state Login to the management
station : ksanman02 or psanman02
Go to cd /usr/local/srfa_a/bin
Run ./symrecover_ksh DGname noDR for normal Mode
Run ./symrecover_ksh DGname noDR for DR Mode.
e)
Golden BCV are not happening - If the replication to the GBCV’s are not
happening , needto manually work on them to make it in the proper state.
